Frequently Asked Questions
How much time does it take to volunteer for the Ambulance squad?
The time in which you must commit to varies from week to week. We our on crew call every forth night. And there are meetings at least twice a month. Some of our volunteers put in more hours and time than others. But, we appreciate any time people can volunteer.
I work full-time. Can I still volunteer?
Yes, you can. If you have a full-time job, you can still volunteer, we run crews during the evening hours starting at 6pm and occasionally on the weekends.
I don't know anything about emergency medical service's or
ambulance services. Can I still volunteer?
Yes you can, that is no problem! We do a lot of in house training. Best of all, it doesn't cost you anything. We pay for all training in regards to EMS. We have a budget set aside just for training. The Corinth Emergency Squad wants you.....not your money.
Will I have any out-of-pocket expenses as a volunteer?
The only out-of-pocket expense from you is $12.00 which is for our yearly dues. Your training, uniform (except shoes), equipment, even your required immunizations, will be provided for free.
